Company founder the late Louie Metti, started out manufacturing PVC dolls and toys.

As part of the Australian Toy Industry he realised the need for quality Australian manufactured playballs as an alternative to the imports being distributed at the time. This led him to sell his doll business and enter the playball market.

From it's humble beginning as a doll manufacturer in Adelaide, Loumet has grown to lead the Australian market in the production of PVC playballs, fitness balls and fitness products.

In moving with the times Loumet has diversified its interests into the ever expanding fitness industry, now producing world quality fitness balls, gym balls, medicine balls and other fitness products.

Today Loumet produces over 10,000 balls daily from their own purpose built machines. Distribution is carried out from its warehouse to all Australian cities and to overseas countries.
