The Loumet "Physio" fitness ball is our classic line used for all fitness applications including sports, general fitness and therapy.

It is very dynamic in it's texture and performance offering an extremely durable and hard wearing fitness ball while maintaining its flexibility.

Because of its burst resistant quality it is recommended for commercial applications; e.g. use in gyms.

The Loumet Fitness Ball Pro is our own premium fitness ball.

Manufactured using our own ‘Metflex’ compound it has been officially weight tested by Adelaide University to hold 350kg (770lbs) without bursting. Unofficial weight testing has shown the Pro ball to have a static weight loading in excess of 1100kg (2400lbs).

Prone Arm/Leg Raise

Muscle groups targeted:
Lower Back, Upper Back and Glutes.

 

 

 

Supine Hip Bridge

Muscle groups targeted:
Glutes, Hamstrings, Lower Back and Abdominals.

 

Back Stretch

1 Kneel with the ball in front of you.
2 Roll forward over the ball so it is under your lower abdominals.
3 Relax your upper body.
4 You may use your legs to rock slowly back and forth to move the stretch through your back.

 

 

 

Abdominal Stretch

1 Sit on the ball.
2 Lean backward slowly and roll the ball under your back.
3 Stop with the ball in the middle of your back.
4 Put your arms over your head and relax your upper body.

You may use your legs to rock slowly back and forth to move the stretch into your abdominals.


 

 

Forward Ball Roll
(Abdominals, Chest & Triceps)

1 Kneel with the ball in front of you, about 10cm from your thighs.
2 Clasp your hands together and place them about three quarters of the way up the ball.
3 Keeping your body straight, lean forward onto the ball, rolling your forearms onto it, until your upper arms form  roughly 90 degree angles with your body.
4 Raise your body back up by pressing your forearms down into the ball as you roll it back.
5 Repeat.

Be sure not to let your hips sag toward the floor.

 

Supine Floor Bridge
(Gluteals, Hamstrings and Lower Back)

1 Lie on your back on the floor with your heels or calves on the ball.
2 Place your arms out to your side for support.
3 Have your knees slightly bent, your feet can be touching or shoulder-width apart.
4 Raise your hips upwards, until your whole body is in a straight line.
5 Try to keep your head, shoulders and arms in contact with the floor.
6 Lower and Repeat

You may push your arms down into the floor to help raise your hips and torso.
